Welcome to my little warped corner of the internet! I’m Vaughan Farrar, author, artist and voice actor following my dreams of entertaining the world one story at a time. Having experienced much of the absurdity that this realm of reality has to offer, I find it a great inspiration for art in many forms. Whether that’s writing, illustrating or bringing characters to life with the cords in my throat, I’m always looking for the next weird, wonderful tale to tell.

The Author

The fantasy and fiction sections are where you’ll find my books. Whether it’s a dark tale of an evil overlord rising back to power or a whimsically light-hearted LitRPG about a goblin accidentally becoming an adventurer, all my stories are laced with subtle satire and tongue-in-cheek humour.

I find a good story worth telling should include both comedy and tragedy in some form or another, for such is life itself. Above all a good story must be engaging, entertaining and fun to read.

The Artist

Character and creature concept art is my wheelhouse as an artist. Whether you need a mean monster or a suave swashbuckler, I’m your guy. Beyond standalone character design, I have extensive experience in pre-visualization, including storyboards, animatics, and asset design. While I work mainly in 2D, I also know my way around 3D software with strong skills in modelling and rigging for animation.

Outside of games and animation, I create book covers, posters, corporate branding, Twitch emotes, logos, t-shirt designs and custom sticker art. I’ve even done studio clean-up work, taking good drafts and making them production ready!

Classic Saturday morning cartoons are my biggest inspiration, defining my line-driven art style. My focus is on bold, expressive, character-centric art rather than photo-realism. Because clear communication matters just as much as good art, I pride myself on transparency. I know my strengths, keep my promises, and only take on work where I know I can deliver great results.

The Voice Actor

Characters, audiobooks, corporate narration, and advertisements: I lend my voice here, there, and everywhere to bring life to all kinds of projects. My range spans everything from sinister storybook villains and rough-and-tumble antiheroes to wacky scientists and energetic cartoon sidekicks.
